The boldness that can handle a no

I have no fear anytime, anywhere asking God for anything, because I have seen him do things that are inexplicable in human terms…  But sometimes you pray for the sun to stand still, and the sun sets.  I’m convinced, though, that the same boldness that’s required to ask God for big things can handle it if he says no.

Craig Groeschel in Altar Ego.

That last sentence.  It has been going round and round my head.  Do we sometimes not ask because we fear that our faith is not big enough to handle him saying no?  And what if I were to throw that caution to the winds, to take that risk and pray the prayer anyway?
